Trade Counter Assistant / Warehouse
Hours: 8am-5pm Monday to Friday
We are looking to recruit a trade counter / warehouse assistant for our busy branch in Kidderminster.
You must have excellent customer service and relationship building skills as you will be liaising with our customers in the branch, over the phone and email taking their orders and resolving their queries.
You will also assist in the picking and preparing of the orders, dealing with the public with queries and orders.
Process customer purchases and orders
Liaising with internal departments
General portage duties including moving boxes and general housekeeping
Taking reasonable care of your own and other people's health, safety and welfare and reporting any situation which may pose a serious or imminent threat to the wellbeing of yourself or of any other person
To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by management to ensure to smooth running of the organisation
Communicating with customers on the trade counter or on the telephone to account or cash sale customers
Ideally you will have experience of working within a similar role and knowledge of the building industry would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be a team player and possess a proactive and positive approach.
